Words of wisdom…sort of? In any case, this quirky web series by Kate Johnson hits the mark, even if newly out lady lead character Leslie describes her love life as “a swing and a miss.”
Watching Leslie tackle lesbian dating for the first time is cringe-worthy but relatable, as are the stereotypes, advice and reactions from her well-meaning straight friends. This series covers everything from “lesbians have it so easy, I wish I were a lesbian” (every straight girl’s favorite quip), snapbacks and other lezzy fashion essentials (and fails), Tinder couples, missing gaydar, and being hit on by creepy dudes at ladies night.
