Essence magazine is livestreaming their 5th annual Black Women in Hollywood luncheon, celebrating “the brightest stars who, through their work, have helped illuminate positive images of Black women worldwide.” Honorees this year include actresses Kerry Washington, Paula Patton, Octavia Spencer and Pam Grier, as well as Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes.
