“Bridget McManus Presents: That Time of the Month”: Episode Nine

In this month’s episode, former Big Gay Sketch Show writer Rebecca Drysdale shares her inspiring music video “It Gets Better” and we get the exclusive trailer for the upcoming lesbian musical Jamie and Jessie Are Not Together.

Speaking of lesbian movies, check out the trailer for the upcoming civil war sci-fi film Blood Fare starring Michelle Wolff (Dante’s Cove) and none other than Bridget, who of course plays a lesbian in the film. Method acting?

After many months of preparation, Chicago-based lesbian film company Tellofilms.com launched the Premium Content section of their website. If you join you can download new series like Cowgirl Up and the upcoming McManusland as well as some old favorites (Brunch with Bridget, 3Way, The Real Girl’s Guide to Everything Else). Go to Tellofilms.com to subscribe and learn more and in the meantime watch a quick clip of these oldies but goodies.

Bridget is never shy about her musical talents (or lack thereof), and this time she enlisted a group of her friends, including AfterEllen.com’s own Trish Bendix and Cat Davis (Is This Awesome), for her newest video “Haters Don’t Hate.”

If you’re in need of dating tips, watch Connecticut journalist McKenzie Morell‘s tips on how to figure out what’s going wrong in your love life. And, finally, Bridget’s cousin, Sabrina McManus (and her guitar, Agnes Bean McManus) are back in the studio jamming out to whatever seems to pop into their heads. (I know guitars have necks, but do they have heads?)

That Time of the Month is accepting submissions of video material from lesbian and bisexual women artists. If you want to see your work featured on the Logo Network and AfterEllen.com, please go to bridgetmcmanus.com for submission guidelines and more info. That Time of the Month airs Tuesday mornings at 4 a.m. on the Logo Network.
