Midwestern musician Angie Mattson picked up and moved out to L.A. before scoring a tour opening for Uh Huh Her last year. Her debut album Given to Sudden Panic and Noisy Retreat is full of songs about traveling and making it to your destination (proverbial or otherwise).
In the video for her single “Drive,” Mattson is out for a night and singing about getting out of a bad situation and into something that’s a little more realistic for herself.
