Swan Island may be on hiatus, but their indie rock is definitely still worth listening to. The quintet’s video for “Night Owl” shows you why: their infectious energy is undeniable. They’ve shared the stage with the now defunct Sleater-Kinney, which makes me think a reunion tour would be a great idea for both Portland bands.
