Watching Up In the Air again over the holiday, I realized I haven’t seen the lovely and exceedingly sexy Vera Farmiga lately.
Fortunately, I didn’t have to search long to find out what she’s been up to, since a new trailer for her upcoming movie Source Code dropped last week.
Source Code stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Captain Colter Stevens, a decorated soldier who wakes up on a train — as somebody else. He eventually learns that he’s part of an operation to find the bomber who blows up said train. An experimental project, Source Code, puts the captain into another man’s body during his last eight minutes of life. Colter relives the incident over and over, finding new clues every time – and getting blown up every time – until he can find the bomber and head off a second attack that will kill millions.
Farmiga plays mission controller Carol Goodwin, who matter-of-factly questions Colter about what he saw then sends him back to the train. Her perfect steely blue eyes convey the resolve and intelligence of a woman on a mission. And she absolutely rocks her uniform.

She’s got some seriously gorgeous eyes, too. You know, I think this movie was made just for me.
Source Code‘s director is Duncan Jones, who wrote and directed Moon – an unusual sci-fi film that I quite liked. We’ll find out April 15 if this is equally good.
