- I'm a person who doesn't like the fact that society refuses to accept people for who they are. I think that sometimes people can be cruel but the people who are cruel are the ones that are trying to show that they care. I came out to my parents almost a year ago and I've been happy ever since. I came out as a bisexual but as time has gone on and I've had personal experiences I think that the only reason I said I was bisexual because I was worried. I think that I thought that if I came out as a lesbian I really wouldn't be excepted but now I'm not really scared of that anymore. I am happy as the person that I am and the truth is that it doesn't matter if society accepts me because its hard to accept someone who you know nothing about and are so different from. Hopefully people can start to understand that we are human beings that that everything we experience is real and that as human beings we have the same rights as everyone else.
