- Just came out at 41. A failed marriage to a man for 10 years and then dating men didn't make me happy. Well, I'm looking at this woman in spinning class one day and it was like a 1,000 watt lightbulb. Except, I knew in the back of my mind but always kept it away from myself. Family upbringing made me very stupid about my sexuality. But this woman! i couldn't shake the feeling and that was it. Two weeks later and I'm online and buying books and music and "studying" how to come out and be my real self. It's fun! I'm a teenager again. Straight friends are tripping all over themselves to fix me up with so and so or I have a neice that would be perfect for you and so it all begins. Any suggestions or cautions?
