W. C Rawley is a 28 year old lesbian from Scandinavia. At the age of 10 she cut her hair off and wore a flanel shirt. After that her sense of fashion has somewhat changed including a few year’s experimenting with long hair and high-heels. During that time, as so many other young people, she also experimented with heterosexuality. Luckily that was just a phase.

W moved to live by herself at a very young age and she considers that working and making her own living considerably shaped her political and social opinions. She got her engineering degree a few years ago and soon after started studying again, this time economics. She doesn’t consider it to be possible that she could ever consider herself to be “graduated”, instead she wishes to be able to study for the rest of her life, perhaps majoring in politics or sociology next. She has a management-level day job in the field of finance, which she greatly enjoys, but doesn’t see herself as a stereotypical this or that. She considers her only stereotype to be that she resents stereotypes.

W dreams of starting her own company, she has already picked the furniture for the offices and sees herself wearing a white suite.

The nick W.C Rawley that she uses, comes from the novel Mr. Vertigo by Paul Auster. The book tells the journey of a boy name Walter, who learns to levitate and experiences adventures while travelling around to show off his talent. The W behind this nick feels that she is exited and amazed of all the things that has happened to her. Eventhough life can be boring and sad and so incredibly frustrating, there are those moments, when one gets exited of a new thing, like learning a new language for example, or getting an idea to start writing her very own blog. And at moments like that, the exitement feels like the feet won’t stay on the ground, like one would levitate almost. Mr. Vertigo!
