Favorite BooksFahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury, Happy Cruelty Day by Bob Powers, Fury by Salman Rushdie, A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, The Salmon of Doubt by Douglas Adams, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep by Philip K. Dick, Weetzie Bat by Francesca Lia Block, and Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology by Ayn Rand, Annie On My Mind by Nancy Gardern. Once reading them one realizes all my opinions are horribly unoriginal. Heh.

Bio
Bio? My my. Well, to start with, I live in the sort of utterly middle class, mildly consecrative town that political candidates of all stripes always campaign and pander to. Mostly movies are my love, which is what led me over to Afterellen. I'm also one of those sorts that actually enjoys academic work. However math is still the reason I've never fond much use the advice of "Live each day as if it's you last". Seeing as if I were aware that today was my last, I surely would not spend it in the company of pre-cal. So I guess staying up with my math work is my way of having a bit of faith in the way the world will turn out. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

And feel free to hit me up, send me a message if so wish.
Favorite Lesbian/Bi TV or Movie Characters
While not female, Rickie from My So Called Life. He was just so sweet, and cared so deeply. When he said he was gay, me hearing that at age 12, I felt like I was going to be okay. And for that, I truly thankful. Also Arnold Beckoff from Torch Song Trilogy. He was just so. . . lovely. So true. So honest. I loved that character. And, on the Ladies side I adored Graham from "But I'm a Chearleader". Severin from Short Bus. And Wil from Saving Face.
Favorite TV Shows
Daria, Invader Zim, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Gilmore Girls, Freaks and Geeks, Dr. Who, Twilight Zone, South Park, SCTV, The Prisoner, Beauty and the Beast, My So Called Life, The Golden Girls (bloody wonderful, that), Monty Python, mst3k, Arrested Development, Strangers with Candy, Pee Wees Playhouse, Johny Brovo, Star Trek (mostly DS9).
