Not mcuch to say about me. I'm a college student in the Chicagoland area and just coming to terms with my sexuality. Hope to get some support from the folks on this sight and build up the courage to be my self, face the challenges of being a gay woman of color, and hopefully, eventually, find my lady love. Okay,after looking at other people's bios i figured i should elaborate. I don't really like talking about myself, call me modest.Umm...I'm not a girly-girl but i love a pencil skirt, pumps, and a cute, fitted top. And jewelry . I have a lot of opinions about America's puritanical culture. HATE IT! I'm a radical feminist. I'm a classically trained violinist. I like many types of music:soul, latin, jazz, classical. I like sarcasm and smart humor. I love new experiences and meeting new, interesting people even though i'm kinda shy. I like one-on-one conversations.I'm usually soft-spoken but inside i'm doggedly independent and opinionated. I don't like drama. I'm also very emotional even though i try to keep that underwraps.I love architecture. I love anything artistic. I'm really bad at math. I sleep a great deal and am rarely hyper. I love animals and was almost a pre-vet student. I'm really into women's issues, gender issues, and philosophy. I care about the environment and am a vegetarian. I call myself an intellectual and i love to learn. There are three things i can't stop buying: shoes, ice cream, and books. I try to always be honest and i like to do things to the best of my ability. I'm a freethinker and worship individuality. If the world was mine Ellen DeGeneres would be queen of the universe. She's the most blessed person I've ever known. k.d. lang is the sexiest woman ever to exist.*sigh* My goals in life are to never loose my romanticsm, my idealism, and to become a true individual. And to experience a soul-crushing love.

I'm a first year undergrad and i'm trying to figure out what i want to do with my life. I'm really inspired by great women, women who are powerful and really themselves and get paid to be who they are. i hope i reach that point someday. I love women like Ellen, k.d. lang, Oprah, and Salma Hayek. I'm majoring in International Studies so i can live outside the country because my family won't let me live my lifestyle so i figure the best thing to do would be to move as far away as possible.
