I was raised by small, woodland creatures in southern New York, near the Hudson River. I went to Uni of Michigan in Ann Arbor, before living in Boston for 12 years and then moving back home 5 years ago to New York. I've got a couple graduate degrees, and the folks at Sallie Mae creditors are particularly enamored of me.

Accolades at U of M include being voted by my crew teammates "most likely to fall off the dock," and, in 1987, I claimed a small patch of sidewalk in Windsor, Ontario for the United States. I survived the Cold War without injury.

I am the Systems Librarian for a fabulous museum/archives/library hybrid, and I like to reminisce about times spent gesticulating at others from the driver's seat of the car I used to own when I was solvent.

I am most excited to be here on AfterEllen, and hope to chat with lots of folks.
