Born and raised in Detroit City.  Moved to Los Angeles to escape the snow and ended up living in the only place in Southern California where it snows every winter.  Got a college degree in film, work fixing computers, have too many pets (but not so many I'll end up on Animal Cops), took woodshop instead of home ec in high school and still have all my fingers (yay!), currently putting together a cheap indie video\movie in my spare time.
