I really like watching lesbian/bi TV shows/movies etc. and I seriously don't think there are enough diverse, multidimensional lesbian/bi characters on TV, instead, time and time again, we see TV shows/movies reusing false stereotypes. I really wish there were more quality TV shows/movies based around lesbian/bi women.

I hope to make a lot of friends here. I don't know that many lesbian/bi women so coming across this site was like coming across hidden treasure. I've been totally addicted to all things AE related. The recaps of TV shows such as South of Nowhere (which kind of drew me to the site), the L word recaps and of course all the wonderful and diverse threads found in the community section, and all the amazing and diverse members of the forum. I am ashamed to admit this but i've been browsing afterellen.com for about 8 months now, always wanting to join, but feeling a little unsure of whether i'd belong and be a useful member. But i've taken the plunge and now i'm here. So anyway i hope to contribute something useful in the near future.
