Hmm, essentials...I do the Muppet dance in the freezer aisle and draw wings on my wrists when bored. I get all misty with affection/inspiration for Mister Rogers and Desmond Tutu. I like studyin' non-violent movements through history (my degree will be in peace with rice milk studies and early childhood education with an emphasis on youth-led social movements) and no, I don't plan to get a job with a groovy degree like that but instead *make* one. Peacemakers "make the road by walking", yo. I'm more spiritual than religious, more about sparkles than rainbows and more about cheese than crackers. Huh? I digress..

I wear "I heart Howard Zinn" tshirts and watch vintage Sesame Street on youtube as much as I watch the BBC news online. I put almonds in my pancakes and love sushi more than one humanly should. I am a girl who had a dog and Mango was his name-o. I'm a proud fashion school drop out.

Wanderlust is my friend and I want to learn to fly a jetplane like the youngins are doing these days. I hope to perfect my Buffy-speak after seven die hard years and move into the Bluth mansion (There's money in the banana stand!). If you watch Arrested Development that'd be funny..

O, and I volunteer w/ humanitarian clowns, my heart skips a beat in librarys because I'm so happy and I love to teach and learn the pedagogy of freedom.
