- I cut my hair to scream "I'm a lesbian" to the world, and when the world got the message, I grew it back out. I lost my virginity to a shopping cart when I was six. I cannot pee if someone is listening. I can name about 20 places to have great macaroni and cheese in Manhattan. My sister looks up to me even though I told her I was gay when she had just turned 12. My biggest fears are my wedding day, shopping carts, and kids falling into train gaps. My favorite things are Wawa diet iced tea, my spanish croquetas, penn state football, music that breaks and heals, macaroni and cheese, sappy tv and movies, new york city, fantabulous grammar, and the dead of winter.

- i'm too old to say this, but i love ashley and spencer from south of nowhere. dana - the l-word. boo to ilene chaiken for ripping me of my sunday night giddiness. kind of enjoyed piper perabo in imagine me and you...but only because i enjoy piper perabo.. and though i'll probably get tarred for saying this, i love jodi on the l-word. though i agree that bette and tina belong together, i'm not a fan of the way it happened, and i think what marlee matlin has brought to the l-word is something some people have taken for granted because of their obsession with "tibette." we all talk about visibility, and we're watching someone playing a deaf lesbian on tv, a woman who then goes on to do dancing with the stars. it makes me want to cry.
