I grew up in Arizona, got my associate degree in business administration there, then moved to Utah. Now I'm pursuing my bachelor's degree in hospitality management.

I realized I was gay when I was 17 after years of confused feelings, preferring the company of other girls, admiring actresses, and crushing on my English and Literature teachers. When I learned the word 'lesbian' I thought, "Finally, there's a word that explains what I feel." In the past my parents made it very clear that they "do not support that lifestyle," so for these 4 years I haven't told them. Maybe someday I will.

On a lighter note, I love all different kinds of dancing, and so far ballroom dancing is definitely my favorite. I'm part of the ballroom dance company here, and the Latin dances are really what draw me in. I crave the rhythms of samba, cha cha, rumba, and salsa.
