- Fun facts: For a time when I was a kid I wanted to be a mad scientist when I grew up. First book I ever read was 'One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish'. My mother is Italian so I am genetically predisposed toward cooking, and making wine. On a note related to the wine thing: My maternal great grandfather watched helplessly as the feds blew up his still during prohibition. Yes, I come from a loooong line of subversives.
