I grew up in southern Maine, and went
to a very small, very liberal school from kindergarten through high
school.
Right now I'm an ecology major at the
University of Maryland, and I couldn't be done with school fast
enough.
I love animals...a lot. Some (meaning
all of my friends, and a large portion of my family) might say I'm a
bit crazy about them. I concur, I am a little crazy about animals.
Case in point, if there is a cute dog (not a huge fan of anything
under 40 lbs) walking on the opposite side of the street from me,
I'll most likely cross the street just to walk by it.
This past summer I spent some time in
Africa hanging out with lions, and I'm going back for more next
summer.
I love, love, love to travel. Give me a
plane ticket, and my passport, and I'm there. Turns out the parents
aren't so keen on my traveling wherever I fancy. I guess theres
something about choosing to travel to a completely unstable country
that really makes them uncomfortable/cry. Oh well, my parents are
fucking awesome, so regardless of their trepidation, they support my
decisions to go where I please.
