- I was conceived in a car in front of my father's mother's house, a bit more than a month before my parents' wedding. I was born on my due date, which happened to be a Friday. I am still alive. My father's mother is not. The car of conception has also met its fate, from what I remember. Yes, I am Southern. Yes, I do not eat grits. Yes, ever. Yes, I might be a cracker, but I don't really know. I do know that real crackers generally will try to fight you, or otherwise kick your ass, when you call them crackers. I wouldn't fight anyone addressing me with the word. So, yes, I don't know if I'm some kind of cracker.
