Specifically ones with little to no scientific factuality, with the required dog and or animal that irrationally manages to survive while most of humanity perishes. For examples see, Twister, Volcano, Dantes Peak, The Day After Tomorrow, Deep Impact. Those are the most obvious. Those that might be added on are Outbreak and Twelve Monkeys, but that is sort of anti-thetical to my argument since the animals act as conduites for humanitys destruction of itself. This may or may not include Jurassic Park, which is a nice mixture of the two. Ive yet to decide. Although these may be considered my favorite as a category I am not likely to include any of these on my list of favorite films. One being that im never happy with any list that I could make, so instead I stubbornly refuse to make any list at all. Two well, there is no two. Except hypothetically Twister would be on that list. Or maybe just Jurassic Park. |
