Bio

I used to put a lot of information here that I now decided was incredibly boring. Let me tell you what really matters.

I love shoes. I love dogs. I love music. I love politics. I love Xena: Warrior Princess, Queer as Folk, Cagney and Lacey, and almost everything on HGTV, but the truth is, I don't watch much television.

I make my living writing, which is much more work than the people who tell me they're going to become writers when they retire seem to imagine.

I even get paid to blog, which apparently is impossible.

I write for AfterEllen.com, which makes sense since I'm a lesbian journalist. I also write for AfterElton.com, which makes less sense and yet is for some reason more fun. I also write for a bunch of other places. That's the boring part I deleted.

My own personal blog, where I'm not paid and thus say whatever I feel like blurting out in that moment, is at DoggedBlog.com. I frequently post photos of my shoes, and my dogs.
