- Bio
- I am 22 year old college student of Webster U, studying Advertising. I love animals. I have a little baby boy named Grover who is mixed with Boston Terrier, Shih Tzu, and Lhasa Apso, but he looks like a boston bean. I love to read, write, take pics, listen to music, be with my family and my one friend. lol Im pretty much a wall flower and house hermit. Some say Im anti-social, I say shy.
- Favorite Books
- Animal Farm by George Orwell, Chaucers Tales, Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk, Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk, Choke by Chuck Palahniuk, Stupid White Men by Michael Moore, The Lottery by Shirley Jackson, Holidays on Ice by David Sedaris, The Lucifer Principle by Howard Bloom, The Last Great Snake Show by Tim McLaurin, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, and more...
- Favorite Lesbian/Bi TV or Movie Characters
- I am a big fan of The L Word, however, I was a HUGE fan of the show when it was less of a Passions type soap opera. I think the creator/writers have done a very shitty job of introducing new characters and keeping the plots and story lines somewhat believable/relatable. Its quite unfortunate, because there is so much potential for the show to be so much more than what is has become, but for the time being it is a favorite show of mine, and I am invested in the characters, which is why every time they are renewed for a new season I am thrilled.
- Favorite Musicians / Bands
- Regina Spektor, Rage Against the Machine, 311, No Doubt, Beck, Aerosmith, Matchbox 20, Modest Mouse, Rachel Yamagata, Radio Head and others...
- Favorite TV Shows
- Before I list my list here is my disclaimer: WARNING: My list might seem child like or childish, but I am a huge fan of animated shows. I think they are witty, fun, and depicted very well. I think it works out for the studios because viewers are attached to drawn characters instead of people, meaning, if the voice of Scooby Doo gets fired the shows cast is left intact and the viewers are none the wiser when the person is replaced. Also, I am not a fan of Scooby Doo, the show was used for an example only. In No Particular Order: 1. Dr. Katz 2. Home Movies 3. The Simpsons (Although Im not sure what took them so long for the movie, which I feel will be one long ass episode and not worth my 8$ bucks.) 4. The Critic 5. Futurama ( I so signed a petition to bring it back, but no luck on that one.) 6. The Jetsons ( Mainly for nostalgic reasons, oh childhood dreams!) 7. The L Word 8. What Not to Wear (I keep telling close friends and family that I want to go to the Goodwill and buy a lot of t-shirts and stuff, get them to film me as if theyre my actual clothes, and BANG! Im in NY getting a free $5, 000 wardrobe. Oh, and I do shop at the Goodwill and various places like that, I mean just wash it and its like new! A lot of times you can get new stuff from Goodwill from companies that donate.
- Favorite Movies
- I have to be part of the reason why TCM ( Turner Classic Movies) is thriving. I love classic black and white movies, I mean my goodness!!! Celebrities or whatever the hell people are the calling the idiots in the business, have no idea of what the hell they are doing. When society starts revering people like Master P, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Beyonce Knowels, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton, as ACTORS then when are a little fucked up. Way more than a little. I did really enjoy V for Vendetta, All of the Saw Movies although they scared me, Who Killed the Electric Car, Pans Labyrinth, Sleepless in Seattle, Pretty Woman, Man oh man how I love the romantic comedies!
