Recovered Irish-Catholic-American. This means I had one of those overbearing good-at-the-guilt-trip mothers. But as I am now a mother myself, I am over the abuse, and have set about to return the favor upon my own poor children. God help them.
Over-educated, under-employed, by choice. That is to say I have a degree but did not put it to use, choosing instead to find work that actually pays. Thus, the liberal arts degree sits in a box in the garage, but the school loans are all paid, and I did not have to default.
