I'm from Maryland. We're not from the south nor do we have an accent. It's soda not pop. It's a sub not a hoagie. It's a beer bong not a funnel and it's definitly beer pong and not beirut. It's the beach not the shore and we drink water not "wooder". It's pizza not pie and we aren't hicks. It's DC not Washington and we know what bad traffic looks like. We know how to use a traffic circle and how to pump our own gas. Duke sucks and we'll always cheer for the Redskins no matter their record. The return of Joe Gibbs is like christ's second coming. We scream O! in the national anthem no matter where we are. We love crabs,football, and beer. Im from MARYLAND and there's no place like home.
