- I work part-time for the BBC, as well as studying part-time at college for an HND in IT Computer Technical Support and Software Development. My main hobby though is organising events for Scottish Lesbian women, who are sick of the scene. I usually do this through a little lesbian forum that i set up called www.socialsisters.co.uk. It has proven to be very popular, the first event, dinner and to club 45 women turned up from all corners of Scotland, they came out of hiding to turn up for the event and a good night was had by all. I have since organised another successful night in Edinburgh, which proved popular. My dream is to have a Pub/Club for Lesbians in Glasgow or Edinburgh, where we provide something different every night of the week. My ultimate aim is to ensure all Lesbians in Scotland have a choice of somewhere to meet like minded women without having to put up with the gay men's scene which we currently now have. My current job and pursuit is in IT, but this is only just for the present simply to pay the bills. Watch this space !
