Celebrating AfterEllen.com’s 10-Year Anniversary — Awesome Infographic: 10 Years of Les/Bi TV!

When I sat down to chart out the last ten years of lesbian and bisexual characters on TV, I tripped over an uplifting problem: There were too many characters to fit onto a single chart. So I narrowed it down to American TV characters. Still too many! So I narrowed it down to primetime American TV characters. Still too many! LGBT people are still underrepresented on television, but we have come a long way since Sarah Warn founded AfterEllen.com back in 2002. In fact, we’ve come along way because Sarah Warn founded AfterEllen.com back in 2002. (Hey, if you can’t toot your own horn on your birthday, when can you toot your own horn?)
