Hey-O! So, don’t get mad, but making and editing a video every week when you’re really just moonlighting at AfterEllen.com is really hard, so you’re just going to have to live with me writing it all out sometimes with a little bit of media magic peppered in when the subject most definitely calls for it.
Anyway, did you watch the Grammys? There were some moments that I could have lived without but there are a lot that I was all “get in my heart” about. Coincidentally, my favorite looks are all black dresses, which was definitely a trend at this year’s show.
The vocal stylings of Adele don’t do a whole lot for me (gasp!) but there is no denying that she was a number one stunner when she swept up all those awards the other night. Way to rock some seriously awesome fake lashes, A.
While I was not a fan of Lady Gaga‘s hair color choices (total two-toned) I was a super fan of all of that netting she was wearing. Her influence on current fashion is obvious and while she’s extremely forward in her ensembles, it works for her.
Jennifer Hudson looked absolutely stunning while giving the inevitable Whitney Houston tribute on Sunday. Has she hired a new stylist? She’s come leaps and bounds in the past year.
Who else, who else? Oh, yeah! Way to go, Rihanna! The blonde is really working for me, as is your extremely low cut backless dress. If you got it, flaunt it, yeah?
