on

This year’s Golden Globe nominations were just announced. Glenn Close scored a best actress in a drama nod for Albert Nobbs, as did Rooney Mara for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, while the best actress in a comedy category included Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster in Carnage and Kristen Wiig in Bridesmaids.

Meanwhile, on the television front, Homeland was nominated for best drama (and scored Claire Danes a best actress nom), while GleeNew Girl and Enlightened received nominations for best comedy. The category for best actress in a comedy looks especially tough, with Tina Fey (30 Rock), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) Laura Dern (Enlightened), Zooey Deschanel (New Girl) and Laura Linney (The Big C) all receiving nominations.

The 69th Annual Golden Globes ceremony will take place on January 15 and Ricky Gervais will again be hosting.
