Styled Out: Emmy fashion

As I’ve discussed before, the queen inside me comes out in full force any time there happens to be an award show for me to critique, and the 2011 Emmys were no exception!

There are no words for how the very existence of Jane Lynch makes me swoon so you can only imagine that she kept my gaze throughout the night. I think a lot of what makes me find her attractive is that insanely dry humor (BTW, get over it, Entourage guys), but she was a GD bombshell on Sunday night. Don’t even try and front.

Guess who I don’t even care about? That’s right, a television show that’s already been done before called Charlie’s Angels. It’s especially hilarious/disappointing to get a first glimpse of just how boring these broads are inevitably going to be. Good luck with picking up a season, girls.

Everyone loves Modern Family (fact!), and I was loving on their garb even harder! I particularly liked Julie Bowen‘s choice. It was chic and classic and reminiscent of Gwyneth Paltrow, who’s always in style. Bravo!

The sad trombone in the situation? I think we all can agree that Ariel Winter‘s look was a touch mature. I don’t know, all I’m saying is that I wouldn’t let my daughter let her t–s hang out at 13.

Ugh, Kate Winslet! A vision! Period, done, end of story.

Mad Men is one of my all time favorite shows and Elisabeth Moss literally took my breath away in that ensemble of hers. She looked completely ethereal and totally tied together. So did Christina Hendricks, but I feel like that’s a given at this point, right?

Who made your heart all a flutter at the Emmys?
