“All My Children” Lesbian Recap: The cuteness of Kinx

Long time All My Children fans adore Kinx. The sisterhood of the traveling Kane girls has been through all sorts of trials — not the least of which is having Erica for a mom — but the bond between Kendall and Bianca always triumphs.

The latest AMC episode features Kinx at its best, as Kendall learns about Binx’s new love.

Aw, Bianca. Happy looks so good on you.

Bianca’s wardrobe cracks me up. Who looks in her closet and thinks, “I’m going to go hang out with my sister. Sequined top? Perfect!”

Christina Bennett Lind is so good in these scenes. She seems so frail at first glance, but the more she has relaxed into being Bianca, the better she’s become. She’s also very funny.

I can’t tell you what a relief it is that the writing staff has changed for AMC‘s last few months on ABC. These writers obviously know real live lesbians. And the chemistry between Alicia Minshew and Christina Bennett Lind is wonderful.

Now we’ve gotten to see both Marissa and Bianca light up when they tell people about their new love. Can we see them on a date, please, before our hearts explode?

The returning AMC stars have started their parade — Maria was on this week and Dixie finally has escaped from Casa de Kidnap. I’m not sure what that will mean for Minx scenes, but we’ll bring them to you as things develop.

What did you think about this episode of All My Children? Do you enjoy the Kane sister banter?
