The women we care about at Comic Con

Jo Chen

As a special guest at this year’s Comic Con, Jo gets her own “Spotlight” for her work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Runaways comics. The program says the entire hour will be “devoted to Jo’s history, artistic skills, and a review of her body of work.” Definitely not one to miss if you are a fan of either series!

Adrienne Curry

A self-professed nerd, the bisexual model will be on a panel about the sexualizing of fangirls. I’m guessing she’s all for it.

Emmy Rossum

The Shameless actress will answer questions about the upcoming second season of the Showtime show, which hopefully includes some tidbits on Fiona’s friendship with the over-eager Jasmine (Amy Smart).

Piper Perabo

She’ll be there to talk Covert Affairs, but we’ll always remember her for her roles in Lost & Delirious and Imagine Me & You. Piper’s pretty likable in any role, come to think of it.

Parminder Nagra

The former ER star will be on hand for the Alcatraz screening and panel, as she is one of the series’ stars. Now will you be watching?

Jeri Ryan

The Star Trek: Voyager alum will grace the stage to talk about the success of the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Fans will also get to see the long-awaited finale, as well as Jeri Ryan in the flesh.

Emilia Clarke

You might not recognize the Game of Thrones actress with her dark ‘do and actual clothing on her torso, but you’ll appreciate her conversations with castmates on the HBO hit. I’m so glad Daenerys didn’t die, and I’m crossing my fingers she survives next season.

We’ll have some Comic-Con coverage with these women and more on In the meantime, check out the full schedule at and Prism Comics’ Gay Agenda Guide and geek out with us.
