Cancel your Saturday night plans and book some serious couch time. Tina Fey is coming back to Saturday Night Live. The former cast member is returning to host again this weekend. It will be her third time hosting, though first time hosting pregnant. The baby seems excited to be going on SNL.
Tina has recorded a series of promos for her hosting stint. I’m particularly excited that she’s swearing for two these days.
The musical guest will be British singer Ellie Goulding, who I do not know but apparently performed at the Royal Wedding reception for Kate and William. You know what that means, right? Hot Sister Pippa Middleton totally got down to her music. Oh, to be a fly on that wall.
There are also unconfirmed though tantalizing rumors that her fellow former SNL cohort Amy Poehler might make a surprise guest appearance. TVLine.com’s Michael Ausiello teased about her possible appearance on Twitter yesterday.
And, if you happened to catch Jimmy Fallon last night, you might have seen a sneak peek. Tina and Amy teamed up to make a guest appearance on Fallon’s Jersey Shore parody, The Jersey Floor. Is it weird I find them both oddly attractive with their fake bakes and blue eye shadow?
So, watching this Saturday? Hope to see more of the guido Fey and Poehler? Admit it, leopard print totally works on Tina.
