This weekend, The Devil stopped by Saturday Night Live‘s Weekend Update to talk about Westboro Baptist Church, the anti-gay hate group whose right to picket military funerals was upheld by The Supreme Court last week. The Devil said Westboro Baptist Church isn’t on God’s side (“First of all, God doesn’t hate gay people, OK? God doesn’t hate anyone; that’s his whole thing.”), but that Westboro Baptist Church isn’t on his side either (“I am the physical incarnation of evil, but what they’re doing is heinous.”).
So if God doesn’t support Westrboro Baptist Church and neither does The Devil, whose side are they on?
