Afternoon Delight: Lady Gaga autographs a toilet, Jones makes “Buffy” soda, and an exclusive clip from “The Kids Are All Right”

It’s Comic-Con weekend, the one weekend a year where I sit in front of Twitter and watch my friends’ Tweets come in from San Diego and wish they’d gotten dysentery or something earlier in the week so I could be there in their place. I hope you all choke on your Willow’s Green Apple Witches Brew! (Not really.) (But kind of.)

The Kids Are All Right opens in wider release this weekend and even wider relase July 30. If you’re still waiting for it to come to your city, check out the brand new clip below!

For more info on when the film will be in your area, check out the Kids Are All Right blog.

Roger Ebert has nothing but praise for Angelina Jolie’s new thriller, Salt.

It is a damn fine thriller. It does all the things I can’t stand in bad movies, and does them in a good one. It’s like a rebuke to all the lousy action movie directors who’ve been banging pots and pans together in our skulls. It winds your clock tight and the alarm doesn’t go off for 100 minutes.

Am I just posting his review to have an excuse for another full-body Jolie shot from the movie premiere? Maybe.

Logo Drama Club spent its 23 episode at the most glamorous Tupperware party ever thrown. 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski hosted the event at Chelsea Arts Tower.

At the behest of AfterEllen.com editor in chief Karman Kregloe, who likes her simply because she’s a good actress – coughLIEScough – Today’s Afternoon is brought to you by Kate Winslet, who is wandering around Rome filming a commercial for watchmaker Longines.
