Just when you thought you’d reached saturation point with the Rosie/Donald inanity, I’m here to add to the glut.
Madonna felt compelled to insert herself into the drama, speaking out on behalf of her longtime friend Rosie on the Today show yesterday. I like how she sticks up for Rosie using playground rhetoric: “People are giving Rosie a hard time. I wish they’d stop. I don’t think it’s fair.” But Donald’s the one who set the monkey bars so low with his bratty name-calling.
My favorite part, though, is that Madonna said she heard about the feud while on vacation “in the middle of the Indian Ocean.” I’m guessing she was there searching for a mermaid baby to adopt.
