Lifetime just greenlit 18 episodes of a half-hour dating show called Gay, Straight or Taken? to premiere on January 8th:
Every episode of Gay features a single woman meeting three men: one who is in a relationship, one who is gay and one who is single. After interacting with each man in group and one-on-one settings, the woman must determine who is the single straight guy among the three. If she chooses correctly, she wins an exotic trip for two with him. If she chooses wrong, the man she selects wins the trip with their significant other.Hmmm. I’m not sure this is a winning idea. I can’t see them ever making a lesbian version of this show, but if they did, they could set it in a hot tub and call it Lesbian, Bisexual or Drunk?
Oh wait, they already have a show like that, on MTV – it’s called The Real World…
