Take a Picture, It’ll Last Longer (Unless Your Show Gets Picked Up for a Full Season)

TVGuide.com is reporting that NBC has just ordered a full season of Aaron Sorkin’s drama about the perils of late night television, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. The critically acclaimed show, starring out actress Sarah Paulson, was rumored to be on the verge of cancellation due to poor ratings. The news was heralded by the show’s small but vocal fan base, and by those of us here at Best. Lesbian-ish. Day. Ever. who are thrilled to have a legitimate reason to run another photo of Paulson.

In related news, no official word yet on whether or not Men in Trees, the new ABC show starring bisexual actress Anne Heche, has been picked up, but the rumor mill suggests that it will be.
UPDATE: Variety.com reports that ABC has just ordered a full season of Men in Trees, and has also moved the show from a lousy timeslot (Fridays at 9 pm) to one of the best (10 pm Thursday), following the hit drama Grey’s Anatomy.
