Per today’s Variety, the CW just announced they’re developing a new scripted series called Thirteen Songs, about an all-girl rock band whose music will be recorded by a yet-to-be-named real-life female group. Someone at that network is clearly on a female music kick – they announced several weeks ago that they’re also developing a reality series called The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll. It remains to be seen whether there will be queer women on either show, but judging by the thousands of screaming lesbian fans at the Pussycat Doll concert at the last Dinah Shore, I’m guessing that won’t matter to many of you.
