Joss and Eliza give us a peek into the second season of “Dollhouse”

As expected, one of the highlights of last weekend’s Comic-Con was the Dollhouse panel, starting with a showing of the “lost episode” of the show, “Epitaph One.”

Tempted as I have been to tap in to a torrent of the episode, I have resisted in favor of watching it the legal way – on the Dollhouse Season One DVD – which was released Tuesday. But reports are that it was the strongest show of the season – and a “game-changer.” Oh Joss, you are such a tease.

I do know this much: Amy Acker/Whiskey/Dr. Saunders is front and center – with no scars in sight.

And apparently, the Dollhouse cleaning crew hasn’t visited DeWitt’s office for a while.

EW‘s Michael Ausiello sat down with Joss Whedon and Eliza Dushku to find out what Season Two has in store. Eliza’s main contribution was being adorable, but no complaints here. (Warning: Spoilers ahead.)

I’m happy to hear that Amy Acker managed to juggle her Happytown schedule to come back for a few episodes and that we’ll see more of the lovely and very busy Felicia Day.

We’ll keep you posted with all the happenings in and around the Dollhouse as Season Two approaches. And if you’ve seen “Epitaph One,” let us know what you thought. (Please don’t link to illegal downloads – we want to be good ‘net citizens.)

What do you think of Whedon’s comments? Are you excited to see what’s next on Dollhouse? What Whenonverse actor would you like to see on the show?
