Later that night, Ali and Emily are watching a movie on the couch, all snuggled up, and Ali kisses her. Emily backs off and reminds her that she’s vulnerable, but Ali promises that’s not why. Emily is dubious, but she can’t resist the girl she’s been in love with since she was 15. They kiss again and the camera pans away. Haleb gets a graphic, full penetration (in my mind) scene and Emison gets a couple of couch smooches. I call shenanigans.
Marco shows up at Spencer’s door with take-out and her favorite soda. I kind of like these two together, I don’t know why. Aria keeps waiting on Ezra to come home, but stops when she sees him on TV, tearfully reuniting with Nicole, who is very much alive. Whelp, we’re gonna be forced to sit through that love triangle in 7B.
Spencer goes to Toby’s house to say goodbye before he moves Out Of Town. She gives him her bedside book of poetry, and they wish each other well. Before she goes, Spencer asks if she can kiss him one last time, and they smooch for all the Spoby shippers.
Ali and Emily are asleep intertwined on the couch, when Emily wakes up to some voices outside. She rolls out in her pajamas to see Paige, who is telling the police that she needs to drop something off for her girlfriend. Oof, slow your roll, Paige. Turns out she brought Emily her swim coach paperwork, since it’s the last day she can submit for the job. Doing something sweet at the expense of herself: classic McCullers move.
Paige asks Emily out for breakfast, but Emily tells her that Ali is having a rough time. Paige reminds Emily that A) Ali is always having a rough time and B) Emily needs someone to take care of her needs for a change. Emily tries to explain that this time is different, but Paige can see the truth: Emily is, and always will be, hung up on Alison DiLaurentis. Paige tells Emily to call her when she’s done being Ali’s puppet and rides off angrily on her bike.
I don’t know if Emily will end up with Paige or Ali or no one, but all I really want is for her to get her own cheesy, slo-mo sex scene with SOMEONE before this show ends for good. Is that too much to ask?
