“Orphan Black” recap (4.04): Control

Sarah explains also that the maggotbot in her FACE could be changing her DNA and Ferdinand is the closest thing to an answer they have. MK can’t argue this point anymore, so she steals $3.7 million from Ferdinand, despite his threats, and Sarah accuses MK of abandoning her, of abandoning her sestras who are still alive.

The crazier things are, the crazier Sarah’s hair gets.

But MK just says she’s sorry and scurries away.

Mrs. S comes to disarm the bomb, and Sarah says her and Ferdinand are even now. Mrs. S cuts a wire and tells Ferdinand to wait until they clear the building before he stands up, just in case. He tells them if he survives it he’ll be broke but Mrs. S has absolutely zero fucks to give about that.

Susan Duncan goes to see Rachel, who has her answer about Charlotte. She thinks they shouldn’t intervene, because her dataset is more useful than what little of her life they’d be able to save. But, to Rachel’s credit, she looks a little sick about saying so. She asks if that’s what she was supposed to say, and Susan answers by saying she’s going away for a while because she caught Rachel’s message she tried to send through Charlotte. And once again Rachel is helpless, and now feeling scolded by her mother.

Which, well, is what happened.

Felix brings Cosima the Birth Bright package and they pop in the video, totally freaked out by this mainstream cultlike recruitment Neolution video.

Are we the only queer characters left, Fe?”

Evie Cho is the one giving the video, who Cosima thinks looks familiar, and she gives the Birth Bright tagline, which is, “Making the world a better place, one baby at a time.” Which…yikes.

You’re very pretty but please don’t hurt my sestras.

What did you think of “From Instinct to Rational Control”?
