Outside, Kane is hanging on a cross, still refusing to take the City of Light chip. That is until Jaha threatens Abby’s life. So Kane takes the key, and we lose one more to the madness.
Somewhere far, far away, the Fearsome Foursome wakes up in a shipping carton. Their weapons are gone, but Clarke is relieved to find that Lexa is still in her pocket.
They bang on the wall, and the doors open, letting more light in than they’ve seen since they landed under the trees. And in walks the infamous Luna.
They say Lincoln sent them, and explain that she’s the last naitblida, that it’s her destiny to be the next Commander. Luna says she left her conclave because she doesn’t want to kill anyone anymore, but Clarke says she won’t have to. Clarke has the spirit of the commander, the spirit of Lexa, and she’s so proud to be offering Luna the flame, to be giving Lexa a second chance to make a difference.
And Octavia watches, so hopeful. The legacies of both of their greatest loves rest on this working.
But Luna won’t take it. She storms out, and the Foursome tries to follow but stop dead in their tracks when they realize they’re so far out of their depths…literally. They’re on an oil rig, and there’s no land in sight.
