Lexa is less than thrilled by this turn of events.
Lexa immediately tells her men that she wants the armies of the 12 clans to strike back. They will flatten Arkadia, give it a metaphorical kick off a tall tower. But Clarke begs her to wait—she can fix this! Clarke turns to run, but Lexa has her guards stop her. Clarke asks if she’s a prisoner now, and Lexa says yes. Even though what she really means is, “You can’t leave me, it’s not safe.” Lexa’s the prisoner here. A prisoner of love.
But Lexa knows as well as anyone no one can really keep Clarke from doing everything in her power to do what she thinks is right, so she convinces Indra to use her radio to contact Kane. Clarke looks to Lexa for support, and she seems reluctant but she swore fealty to Clarke so what can she do, really?
In Arkadia, Kane gets the radio and pulls Octavia aside. He says that Octavia will have to meet Indra, because Pike is watching him too closely for him to disappear for too long. Kane looks at the little floorbaby and says, “I need you.” She looks at him like the concept is unreal to her. No one even wanted her to exist for so long, and now her existence is critical. Kane opens a secret door and tells her how to get out of Arkadia, and she beams; she lives for this shit. She’ll do him proud.
Kane and Lincoln go to find Bellamy, and Lincoln is especially pissed. Bellamy starts spouting about season one grudges, about how he’s still mad that the trikru attacked them when they FELL FROM THE SKY LIKE ALIEN DEMONS AND SET UP CAMP, practically spitting as he talks about “them”. Lincoln was co-teaching with Bellamy just a few weeks ago, sparring with him and brother-in-law style bonding with him; how can he be turning on him and his people so completely now? When his sister is one of them when his best friend is in love with one of them?
Somewhere else in Arkadia, Raven angrily hobbles toward Abby and starts shouting about how unfair it is that Abby didn’t clear her for medical leave just because she has a constant searing pain in her leg that sometimes keeps her from being able to do things or think straight.
Abby wants Raven to reduce her pain and that pushing herself isn’t helping anyone, but Raven is so mad. SO MAD. Work is the one thing she has right now; all of her friends, all the people she’s grown to love, have either died or abandoned her because they’re more mobile than she is.
Outside the camp walls, Alie and Thelonious show up. The grounder they’re with gets killed, but Jaha is none too concerned; he’s in the City of Light now.
