“The 100” recap (3.02): The Commander of My Fate

At Mt. Weather, Abby, her nurse, and Lincoln bring Nyko to the medical wing, and Octavia tells Jasper, who looks like he’s not even sure how he got here, not to do anything stupid because she knows him.

When Nyko comes to, Lincoln explains that they had to take him there to save him, and Nyko understands, thanking Abby. He’s convinced they can change their people’s minds about the now-empty Mt. Weather, saying that places aren’t evil, people are.

Meanwhile, Jasper is destroying things in the art room, looking for Maya’s favorite painting. When he finds it, he sits and stares at it sadly until Octavia comes in and sits next to him. And for just a moment, they’re back to the beginning.

Floorbaby and Goggles, best friends from the start.

Jasper cries and Octavia puts her arm around him, promising him it’ll get better.

In the cave, while Monty is being told the story of how his father died saving children from Grounders, the ever-impatient Bellamy steals clothes off a dead Ice Nation Grounder and sneaks into the army, heading in the direction he saw Clarke disappear.

He eventually finds the subway station and thereby finds Clarke…but he’s not alone. Vane easily bests him, but stops just shy of killing him because Clarke begs for Bellamy’s life.

“The straight people will get us canceled if you kill him!”

Vane spares his life but stabs him anyway to keep him from following them.

When the Sky People find Bellamy, he is frantic; he almost had her, and he can’t lose her. Literally no one would like him if it wasn’t for her. He’d still be making people cut things off for a sliver of scaley panther or teaching little girls how to murder innocent people. She’s the smartest person to fall from the sky, and they need her.

But Clarke is long gone. Wanheda has a bag over her head and is being delivered to the person to whom she was promised. And that person, of course, is Lexa.

OG Heda, reporting for duty.

Lexa says, “Hello Clarke,” but Princess doesn’t look as thrilled to see the Commander as we are.

Though it might just be hard to smile while you’re bound and gagged.

Lexa looks her up and down and scolds Vane for not delivering her unharmed; he explains that she didn’t come easy, and Lexa isn’t even a little surprised. He asks for his banishment to be lifted, but Lexa will need more from him; then she finally gives our ex-pirate a name: Prince Roan of Azgeda, son of the Ice Queen herself.
