“Transparent” producer Rhys Ernst on Season 2 and the representation of trans men in the media
Rhys Ernst not only worked on the Emmy-award-winning first season Transparent, but he also created the spin-off series, This is Me, which was also nominated for an Emmy in Short-Form Non-Fiction. The out trans filmmaker and artist had a heavy hand in Season 2 of the Amazon hit, and we chatted with him about his work and the much needed representation of trans men in the media.
