I know, I know. The wedding has been filmed and we’ve seen previews.
And Friday on All My Children (or Monday, depending on where you live), we’re allegedly going to see Bianca (Eden Riegel) and Reese (Tamara Braun) tie the knot.
It’s the first lesbian wedding on daytime TV! It’s groundbreaking! Everyone is beautiful and happy and here’s to a bright future!
So why am I dreading it?
Today’s kiss between Zach and Reese might have something to do with it (even though we all knew this was coming).
I’m not going to get myself worked up into a rant again, but suffice it to say that “happily ever after” does not appear to be in Bianca’s future. And the fact that ABC is touting the wedding as a “historic daytime event” just ticks me off.
I’m not sure when this behind-the-scenes video was shot, but I’m guessing that either Eden hadn’t read the next day’s script or else I am completely wrong about where Reese and Bianca are headed. Watch it and let me know in the comments what you think.
