Diane von Furstenberg took a break from designing chic dresses to have affairs with women, though she says she’s “definitely not a lesbian.” In the new book Diane von Furstenberg: A Life Unwrapped, Diane talks about her first female love, Deanne:

“She was very shy and masculine and she intrigued me. I was in love.”

LA Weekly is onto Freckles, who we’ve loved since “Uh Huh.” The out songwriter says:

“Even though I’m an androgynous gay woman, my music isn’t gay. It’s just good music.
