Happy Thursday, Brewbies! While Trish is in DC, I’ll be serving up your Morning Brew. Today could be a very big day for marriage equality, so we are crossing our fingers very tightly over here.

Sports commentator Alexi Lalas got mansplainy with USWNT player Abby Wambach after Wambach expressed criticism about a World Cup referee. Wambach ended up apologizing to the referee. Do you think Abby was on to something?

Queer model AzMarie Livingston appeared in a very cool segment on HuffPost Live yesterday to discuss butch/femme identity and breaking through that binary.

Also in Huffington Post, Wazina Zondon, writer and co-founder of the organization Coming Out Muslim wrote about being a queer Muslim .

Even among the most progressive, well-educated and best-intentioned individuals, this is a comment which is heard far too often. People who have no trouble understanding that lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgendered people have existed throughout history, in every nation, culture, religion and ethnicity, still have trouble accepting someone can be both queer and a faithful believer in Islam.
