Morning Brew – Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts make out

Good morning!

Next Wednesday, we’ll be in Washington D.C. for a super fun event and would love to see you there.

Just in time for #WCW: 100 Most Stylish Dapper Qs.

Samira Wiley had some great prison names for her castmates and other celebrities. Meanwhile Vulture writes that Orange has no villain this season and Cosmo says Big Boo’s strap-on sex scene is important.

Last night in LA, Nicole Kidman was honored at the Women in Film’s 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards, and shared a story of how she once passed up a role in a Jane Campion short that would have had her kissing another girl in a shower cap.

“My excuse was that I had final exams to study for, but the truth is the part would have required me to appear up on the screen wearing a shower cap and kissing a girl . . . I wanted to be the kind of actress with long flowing hair [who] kissed boys . . . I was not ready to do the kind of work that threatened anybody. Well, today I know better and I say, ‘Jane, if you’re out there . . . I’m ready to don this cap.'”

Then her good friend Naomi Watts took the stage, complete with props, and the rest is YASSSSS.

I love friendship. Here’s who else was there:

Model Karrueche Tran is a Ruby Rose convert.

At the Guardian, a teacher writes about coming out to her students when they ask if she’s a lesbian.

von Grey’s new video for their song “Katie” is a touching and beautifully choreographed story of domestic violence within a lesbian relationship. Great song, too!

People love streaming Rachel Maddow. Guilty!

Bustle has complied all the quotes they could find from Kristen Stewart where she indicate she’ll probably never talk about her sexuality.

Cortney Bogorad was kicked out of a Detroit restaurant called Fishbones because she was mistaken for a man while in the women’s restroom. Now she’s suing.
